2K Games has announced that the free co-op multiplayer DLC is now available for download for their military third-person shooter Spec Ops: The Line.

The content adds a co-op mode, which includes objective-based two player cooperative multiplayer scenarios set in Dubai, with four missions, each with its own unique objectives, environments and playable characters.

Spec Ops: The Line was released late June 2012 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and earned a 7.0/10 score in Strategy Informer's review.

Co-op is nice, free co-op is even better :).

I doubt just those 4 missions warrant a purchase until the game gets super cheap though.

Spec Ops: The Line has one of the best stories of the year.

Hmm, that might be a good enough reason. It can be had for 16€ on ebay so that's almost cheap enough to buy two copies, I need it juuust a bit lower :)

Completely agree with Jonah, the story is the main reason I bought this game (in that, it has one, unlike CoD and BF). The sand aspect of the game, where it can alter the layout of the maps was also quite intriguing; just a shame they didn't exploit it more in the SP story.

Already download this new campaign, just gotta find the time and a person to play it with now...
