Riders of Rohan expansion for LOTRO delayed til October

Turbine has announced on The Lord of the Rings Online developer diary that the upcoming Riders of Rohan expansion has been delayed til the 15th October, thanks to gamer feedback during the beta.


According to the developer, "Thanks to some great efforts from beta players, we’ve identified issues that we think need to be addressed before we can launch. In order to address those issues and meet our expectations for quality we’re going to need more time."

Turbine went on to say that those players who pre-ordered the expansion will be getting extra goodies for their patience, including:

* 100% XP Boost (1hr)
* Slayer Deed Accelerators x1 (60 min)
* +20% Renown (3 hours)
* +20% Mount Speed (1 hour)
* Tome of Defence
* Scroll of Finesse

The Lord of the Rings is such a massive title these days. More and more of its games are coming, and we are expecting the new film as well (though not called "The Lord of the Rings")
