Diablo III designer issues apology to Brevik

Blizzard's Jay Wilson has offered an apology for the comments made towards former employee David Brevik.

Wilson, who was quoted as saying "F*** that loser" after a Brevik interview criticised the game, wants to forget and move on.

"As many of you probably know, I recently made a comment on Facebook about Dave Brevik.

"I want to make it clear that I am very sorry for what I said. I have higher expectations for myself than to express my feelings in such a rash way and disrespect a fellow developer like Dave, someone who deserves to be treated with greater respect."

His full apology can be read here.

Needless to day, Wilson will be embarrassed over this situation. It got out of hand quickly, and doesn't reflect well on a team that launched the game with plenty of bugs.

Lol load of BS. What he said is what he meant. Professionally though, I guess he can make an apology to ease it up.

I agree, this is just not to look bad anymore, though the damage has been done.
