Ubisoft has announced that a PC version of its post-apocalyptic action-adventure game, I am Alive, will be released on 13th September, 2012.

I Am Alive follows an everymanís journey to find his wife and daughter, who were lost during the "Event." A year later, he finds Haventon, his hometown, in shambles. Buildings are destroyed, toxic ash fills the streets and society has been torn, causing inhabitants to take all necessary actions to survive.

Originally released on the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, I am Alive has been enhanced for the PC with higher resolutions and improved graphics. Included are two new modes: The "Easy" mode, which will allow infinite retries and a smoother introduction to I Am Alive, and the "Replay" mode, which as the name suggests, will permit players to replay any level to uncover more secrets and hidden objects.

I Am Alive will be available for £11.99 on Ubishop, Steam and other digital retailers.

What do you mean by that? The time in which you can find your family is limited?

Is that 12pound price correct? Wasn't this an AAA release?

No,the time you have to climb to certain obstacles can be quite annoying because the game saves only at certain checkpoints,if you die you have to get all the items again, and do the conversations again!

Ouch that sucks :(.
But that's on consoles, they might fix this issue for the PC.

They're porting this over on PC after the 95-97 percent thing?
Perhaps they want this game to be heavily pirated so that they'd have something to back up the before said statement.

I wonder for which 5% they are doing this for - the fools, the insane or their secret masochistic love for all things pirates do?

I'm guessing, the third.
