Darksiders II developer Vigil have announced they are working on a patch for both the PC and console versions of the game to eliminate some of the more annoying issues plaguing it.

According to the developer, "A small number of our players on Xbox 360 and PS3 have informed us that they encountered bugs, which can potentially block progression while playing the game."

The PC version will be getting more technical fixes, including vsync updates, improved shadow map resolution, X-axis options and additional keyboard mapping options.

Vigil estimates the PC patch will come in a few weeks, while the console patches will be subjected to Sony and Microsoft's approval.

Like any developer has a choice when it comes to acknowledging bugs, if they exist they exist :).
Denying their existence is only gonna anger the community.

Yet another bug-infested Triple A release. Have they all gotten their "How To..." manuals from Microsoft?
Chapter 1: Release a product filled with bugs, the upodate constantly through the profuct's life.
The good old days of almost perfect games with a patch or two balancing gameplay or some trivial technical issue experienced by few are long gone. *sigh*

PC version isn't that bad. Just adding more gfx tools and tweaking.

I agree, the PC version will be great if they add proper options and controls screen.

That's the absolute minimum any port to PC needs to do to not be crap, controls and basic options.

aye i couldn't play it simply the only thing i could change was resolution while i still have Bloom n anti-aliasing on and playing on 800x600 well that crap i did 10 years ago XD but screen got bigger and so did resolutions of games

for the rest controls can be edited on the char screen in the movement list took me some time to find out but for us azerty peeps we tend to get victemed in such games because of the default qwerty settings...

Is the fps capped at 30? If so then that's another hit to PC gamers being forced to play ports instead of "real" games. I have the original, and despite the clunky controls (I refuse to allow a XB controller anywhere near my Precious) it's not a bad game.
