Electronic Arts has announced that the Armorerd Kill DLC for Battlefield 3 will be landing in September, and the date depends on what platform you're running it on and whether you have Battlefield Premium or not.

If you own a PlayStation 3 and have Battlefield Premium, the DLC will be available on the 4th September. PC and Xbox 360 Battlefield Premium members will get it on the 11th September. Otherwise, non-Premium PS3 users get it on the 18th September and everyone else gets it on the 25th September.

Armorerd Kill, as the name implies, focuses on vehicular combat and vehicle-friendly maps, highlighting, of course, tanks. Gamers interested in the DLC can check it out on the official page here.

AAn uypdated version of "Armored Fury" for "BF2"? Boy Dice are lazy.
Thanks, but no tanks:)

Mind you, I do love my armour. Oh, the agony....

Well, there's jeeps and planes, too.

Don't say that Jonah you temptress...
Jets I can live without, as fun as they are, they're not fun in "BF3" (apologies to jet jockeys - you wanks). Until AA is re-balanced closer to how it was at the start I loathe jets in "BF3". They are a bugger to fly with a joystick, particularly against children using gamepads (which just isn't right) and from a ground perspective virtually invulnerable.
Jeeps - bah humbug.

I recalled one member being a fighter jock who took offence if I recall when I mouthed off about jet jockies who ruin the game. What that you Chosen? if so I do apologise, but since AA has been so seriously nerfed quite soem time back I hate the imbalance.
Mouse and keyboard - the way I used to fly in the old days before buying my very first stick. Nothing worng with that setup.

*ahem* jets flying at 50 km/h for example? ^^ at least in arma 2 they don't nerf the speed it makes them hard to handle but at least it cuts to the chase that combat jet aircrafts go fast as in 300 km/h at least...

Hehe.

Jets were better I agree, and a real asset if you understood them. Apparently a very, VERY vocal minority whinged so hard and so loudly to Dice about the effectiveness of AA (which needed only a small amount of tweaking) they nerfed all AA severely and have never re-balanced what is a game-killer particularly on Wake Island and that other amphibious map.

nerfed AA? you guys are not gonna tell me if you launch a stinger at an aircraft it survives the hit or what?

The trouble is the lock-on for the stinger takes far too, long and when it does you might get 1 hit for 4 shots ad it will never bring down an aircraft. Likewise with the AA vehicles, I find the mini-gun the only real weapon capable of taking down jets and choppers, as the SAM's just take too long to lock and once more hit once in every 4 shots. By then you're usually dead.

tsss shamefull maybe we need to launch a stinger at EAs HQ maybe then they understand how stong that thing is XD

but my alltime favorite AA is the goodie old flak cannon ^^ obsolete maybe now because of aircraft being too fast for targeting idk lol it still would shred most aircraft to pieces if they would use it with proper care

well not nessecary its just Infrared homing so generally if you mess on the systems enough is really possible to rig one to shoot on ground targets if not we can always rig the rocket as a grenade :p

I was talking about open desert areas where there is no obstruction to LoS.

"BF"BC2" bad as it can be with the baserapers and cheaters is still better than "BF3". At least you know you can sustain a connection with a server and not be kicked by an infant if you do.

ugh cheaters... i only cheat for the fun out of singleplayer but on multiplayer thats just really low... their plenty of those unfortunately on every MP game may it be TF2 or UT3 you just have those good for nothing jerks everywhere...
