Sony Online Entertainment has announced in the official forums that the 9th expansion in EverQuest II's history will be arriving this November, called Chains of Eternity, which takes place in the afterlife, the Ethermere.

In addition to new quests and raids, the expansion features:

* Adventure and Tradeskill Levels Increased to 95
* New Class Prestige Abilities
* Tradeskill Prestige Abilities Implementation
* Guild Level to 95
* Organic Adornments

SOE will also be continuing its content release prior to the new expansion. The first areas of Sleeper’s Tomb will be released in mid-September, which SOE refers to as the “Prelude,” which will lead to the events of Chains of Eternity.

Everquest II went free-to-play in 10th November, 2011.
