Epic Games has announced that it has opened a Seattle studio where the developer will be focusing on developing games based on the Unreal Engine 4. The studio has also started hiring for the new studio.

According to studio president Mike Capps, "Epic is especially looking to hire senior-level talent specializing in online game services and the infrastructure to support them. The proximity to key partners, the density of world-class talent and all the factors that make Seattle an attractive place to live convinced us that it is the perfect locale for Epic's West Coast operation."

Epic's job listings for the new studio can be found here.

The first game to use the Unreal Engine 4 will be Fortnite.
