This is the main part that is absolutely critical, anything else is just a nice bonus.

Make it more as Dragon Age: Origins was and a lot more people will be happy. No recycled environments, no really long first act, and maybe give us the option to actually be a different race again and I think a lot of fans will be happy. Oh, and give us back the old interface. The Mass Effect rip off of DA2 didn't help at all :P But, all that being said, I'm still looking forward to this. Bioware's stumbled a few times, but perhaps this is their chance at "redemption" ;)

A Forbes article hints there will be a "Galactic Readiness"-style mechanic in DA3.

Well that's pretty much guesswork at this stage...but of they do that, people will be upset. More so than with Mass Effect really, this game doens't even make sense in multiplayer TBH. Except perhaps Co-op.

DA3 will have multiplayer. That was confirmed a while ago.

FFS, forcing MP into a SP game :(.
I don't mind MP but it should not have an effect on SP!

Sooo,how much do you guys think this`ll suck... no really after DA 2 and ME 3 i have no faith left in Bioware,EA have screwed them severely,if the game is actually good then great,if not i called it.

I haven't played DA 2 yet, and I probably will not play ME 3 because of Origin, but by the looks of it, both are really actually sucky.

I in any event don't have much faith in EA, but Bioware I can still give my attention to. Let us hope that DA 3 will be much better than the last one.

I think this will suck. Or at least, I'm not looking forward to it at all - I simply have no faith in the Dragon Age franchise. I realize that I'm one of few that didn't like neither DA:Origins nor DA2- I feel both games are a washed out piece of dung. The DA franchise, the ruleset and setting is just a meak fantasy universe with very little going on. There are few factions, fewer advesaries and the entire mechanic makes the game very booring from a RPG (old tabletop) perspective to begin with.

A new engine and more customization of henchies armours smells and screams of costly costume DLC bonanza - a sort of BioWare hatters party if you will...

If they honestly only focus about how people didn't like the repeated dugneons and locales - DA3 will be a sorry mess IMO. I can live with few locations and same ol same ol caverns as long as the gameplay is fun. But hitting or magicically fry something in DA2 was really booring.

Another huge problem is that the stories in BW games seems to be a very old concept and just slap some new faces to same problem. DA3 should kick out everyone that worked with Origins and DA2 and get something new pumping!

We'll see how it turns out, I still believe BioWare might turn this around and make an amazing game. KotOR, ME1 and DA:O were amazing, so I still have hope. But I won't hold my breath...

I do have hope as long as they're concentrating on not screwing up like they did with DA2, give the game as long as it needs, and don't make a complicated inexplicable ending. Oh, and PC comes first.

I really like the world they've created, and have even been enjoying the books. The last one, Asunder, continues from the fallout of DA2's events and shows what they're building to in DA3. A huge split in the Chantry, a surprising turn of events involving a major character from both DA1 and DA2, and the introduction of the Inquisition who are determined to put down the mage rebellion at any cost. DA3 could be really interesting if it sticks with all that.

don't get me wrong by all means make the 3rd one but its common to see an mmo take over and destroy future planned franchises i hope the community is strong to show that a kotor3 is a must...(trust me us Homeworld fans still are waiting for the third from relic its hard somethimes get them to make a new one...)

as for DA3 ill reserve my opinion for now its too little information to say lets just see they've learned from their mistakes and hope for something innovative

then again hope is the first step to dissapointment as the librarian of DOW2 says... so lets stick on a wait and see thaught ^^

Mass DEfect died, DA was damaged, and I do not trust them anymore. Thats simply enough for me. I remember the KotOR days...it was unmatchable game in 2003.
I remember Mass Effect, truly innovative to all aspects (Which were screwed in sequels because EA sucks as hell).
Dragon Age:Origins will always be in my heart, very classic, true hardcore game, with so much adjustments, stats and tactics, with cool story full of epic moments as well as unpredictable turning points, it was a mature game, for high level gamers :)

It is sad for, I had killed all my love to BioWare right after DA 2 and Mass Deffect 2, it was clearly that EA's influence is destroying BioWare, once a greatest RPG developer... RIP BW, I had a great journey with your finest games, and was a witness of your great fall...RIP.
