Slender: The Eight Pages creator Mark Hadley has announced a sequel is in the works, in co-development with Blue Isle Studios. It features more levels and better visuals than its predecessor.

It'll also have an immersing storyline, creating an "even more terrifying" experience than The Eight Pages. However it won't be free but a commercial release. It's due for PC "soon" reveals Hadley.

The original had the player roam a dark foreboding forest with a flashlight looking to collect book pages, whilst being stalked by a bone chilling 'Slender Man' figure.

I have no idea what happened, but Slender man became incredibly popular all of the sudden.

I played the Eight Pages game, and it was terrifying the first two times... after that I knew exactly how things work, and now it is just playing a slow paced game with a skinny man chasing me all around the map.
