Football Manager 2013 set for November 2nd, pre-order grants 'beta access'

SEGA has announced the date of November 2nd as the day of release for Football Manager 2013 from developer Sports Interactive. Pre-ordering will give access to a singleplayer beta version.

It'll become available 14 days prior to November 2nd from either boxed or digital pre-orders. Fans will "receive a unique code" to get hold of the "fully-playable" beta pre-release.

The beta version of the game will remain functional until November 5th, advises SEGA. Save data from the early pre-release won't work however with the full retail release.

"Our fans are very good at letting us know what they want and the one thing that’s consistently at the top of their wish list is an earlier release date,” says Sports Interactive’s Studio Director Miles Jacobson. “While we can’t, strictly speaking, offer them exactly what they want, this Beta version is the next best thing… a fully playable Football Manager they can get their hands on around two weeks before the finished game hits the streets.”

Football Manager 2013 releases on PC and Mac November 2nd.

Soooo tempting but at $40 I can wait and just continue with my Spurs team in "2011".

Ok just checked. $40 on Greenmangaming but $80 on Steam. What a F*@#ing rip off.

Yeah it is expensive thats why I'm waiting until after christmas when my wallets not being burned as much!
