Rumor: Star Wars: First Assault boxshot leaked by Xbox.com

Back in late August, LucasArts filed a trademark for Star Wars: First Assault. Now, the fellows at NeoGAF have discovered an Xbox Live Marketplace product page for such a title, which will be released on Xbox Live Arcade, it seems.

Many have leaped to the conclusion that First Assault is the remnant of what used to be Star Wars: Battlefront 3, the sequel to the popular Battlefield-styled mission-based multiplayer shooter that allowed players to engage in large scale Star Wars battles.

Battlefront 3 had been in development according to sources. There's no evidence First Assault is being developed by Spark Unlimited, however.

Lst plated was "RA 2" on the PC. Wasn't too impressed by it. Perhaps it IS the remanats of "SW:BF 3" but I hope not, as all avid Star Warsians (new word, my patent) still hold out hope that "Battlefront 3" will one day emerge.

Battlefront 3 would be awesome,however there are also screenshots available of Battlefront 4.
