EA Maxis release first SimCity 'Gameplay Strategy' video

You want almost 10 minutes of EA Maxis' new SimCity to watch? Well, alright. In fact the developer has been kind enough to release the first in a series of 'Gameplay Strategy' videos.

The lengthy clip is narrated by lead designer Stone Librande and he talks us through the basics of this new SimCity beast that's cooking over at Maxis. It's a gameplay candy store!

No more fancy talk of engine this, and simulation that. Now the studio is actually showing off SimCity in a far more complete capacity. They remind us that decisions impact neighbours.

Of course if you're already screaming against the long wait for the new SimCity then you might want to avoid watching this 9 minute 13 second video to better safeguard your sanity. SimCity releases on PC in February 2013.

The graphics look great but the gameplay seems a bit simplified with all the pipes getting placed automatically with roads.
