Desktop Dragoborn rejoice! Bethesda has released the Hearthfire add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on PC. That means we get to build our own house complete with resplendent crap on the wall.

It also lets us adopt some children if you're feeling all parental. Trophy rooms, alchemy laboratories and scolding furnaces - yep, it's the perfect environment for raising young Nordlings.

The mini DLC treat is available right now through Steam for around £3.49/$5. It lets us purchase land within the game and then set about to raising our homestead.
