Wargaming has announced that update 8.1 will be bringing in British war machines with "22 iconic steel fortresses" from the Royal Tank Corps. From the tiny Vickers to the mighty Conqueror.

The "legendary Churchill heavies" will also grace the British national tech tree, promise Wargaming. It's only right the Royal Tank Corps finally shows up as the British "invented the first tank".

Outside of proud British machines, update 8.1 also overhauls World of Tanks rendering and lighting system on five more arenas of battle; new premium machines too.

"The Brits invented the first tank, pioneering the evolution of the whole industry, and it's an honor for us to greet them in World of Tanks. They are so close, you can hear their tracks rolling!" said producer Mike Zhivets. "Their looks are as daunting as their guns, and I'm sure the Brits will make great competitors to other nations in World of Tanks."

Premium tanks coming are the Soviet SU-11 44, the German PzIV Schmalturm VI and the Panther M10.
