BioWare has revealed the next major DLC instalment for Mass Effect 3 is indeed Omega, and it's the largest effort to date as it's "double the size" of Leviathan's single player extension.

It's also the highest priced DLC yet for Mass Effect 3 unless you count the Cerberus Network pass. It's going for 1200 MSP or about $10. New enemies will be included and a female turian!

It was during the New York Comic-Con that BioWare's Mike Gamble spilled the Omega beans. The story follows on from the Mass Effect 3: Invasion prequel comics.

General Petrovsky will be returning in the Omega DLC, as he was instrumental in securing the outlaw chunk of rock for Cerberus and the Illusive Man. We'll be aiding Aria T'loak as she wants revenge for being betrayed by Cerberus, who now blockades her former seat of criminal power.

Mass Effect 3's Omega DLC releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC November 27th. The latest new content for BioWare's sci-fi RPG was Retaliation, which is multiplayer DLC, adding new weapons and enemies.
