Capcom confirm Devil May Cry demo out before release, Mundus returns

During a Comic-Con panel in New York, producer Alex Jones spilled that Ninja Theory's DmC: Devil May Cry will be treated to a pre-release demo - at least for Xbox 360 and PS3.

Also revealed is that original bad guy Mundus will be ruling the underworld once more. Jones also reaffirmed that Dante's brother Virgil "will not be" playable. It's out in January.

Which means the demo on Xbox Live and PSN could hit any time before then. There's no word on a PC demo, which is also missing a retail date. Below is a Comic-Con trailer.

DmC: Devil May Cry releases on Xbox 360 and PS3 January 15th, 2013.
