Telltale Games has announced that it will be tackling another licensed IP for an adventure game series. This time, it'll be doing games based on the DC Comics Vertigo title Fables, by Bill Willingham.

According to Telltale, "Created by Bill Willingham, the Eisner award-winning and chart-topping Fables re-imagines classic characters from fairy tales and folklore spinning their stories in wild, brutally violent, mature, and often unexpected directions."

For those gamers who aren't familiar with the comic, Fables centers on classic fairy tale characters who have been banished to live in New York City. The comic features such characters as Snow White and Pinocchio, for example.

Platforms and release window have not been announced yet.
