For pre-orders of SEGA's Football Manager 2013 the beta has begun. Most of the full retail game's features are included to play, meaning the Classic mode is available to try out.

Once November 5th rolls around the beta ends, but fans can continue their careers without disruption in the full game. Football Manager 2013 globally releases November 2nd.

The hope for developer Sports Interactive is that FM 2013 has something for everyone. Classic mode was designed for fans that couldn't quite commit heavy hours but still want to play.

“We had an idea that this pre-order promotion was going to be popular, but nothing prepared us for the wave of enthusiasm that we were hit with when we announced it last month,” says Sports Interactive’s Studio Director Miles Jacobson. “If you’ve already pre-ordered your copy, then you can start playing the Beta version right now – and if you haven’t then there’s still time, as this offer will stay good right up until the day of release.”

The new short-term Challenges will also be included in the beta which officially ends November 5th. All beta games are said to be "fully compatible" with the final release so they aren't a waste of time to see through.

Hell, I'm still playing "FM 2011", so when this drops in price ($80 on Steam - the most expensive of all DD's) from $30 I'll happily pick it up.
