Crackdown fans should forget about additional Downloadable Content

Fans of Crackdown have been asking about the possibility of more downloadable content for the game, even going as far as starting petitions in an attempt to convince Realtime Worlds into putting some time aside for it. But Community Relations Manager Chris Dye has stomped on the voice of the community by saying that the company has moved on to its next project, APB.

“Unfortunately from a Realtime Worlds perspective there will not be any additional DLC for Crackdown; the company has moved onto our next Project, APB, and is 100% committed to that and other projects yet to be announced, and as such we are not in a position to work on any new Crackdown content.” said Dye on the official Crackdown forums.

That puts an end to Crackdown Downloadable Content begging, then.

How much DLC do you need for a fighting game? This one has everything but the kitchen sink...or is that in the latest DL?

Ahh Crackdown. :) I actually had more fun with this game than I have with GTA IV. I wouldn't mind seeing a sequal to this one.
