Stronghold developer Firefly is clearing the space dust off their 2003 sci-fi strategy simulator. Space Colony HD will be all systems go next month as we get busy building intergalactic settlements.
It's our job to keep our "ragtag crew of colonists alive and content." We'll have to stave off alien attacks as we litter colonies across the stars. It's a complete HD overhaul supporting 2560x1600.
Much like Stronghold, Space Colony HD supports taking the military or civilian path. Firefly is happy to give fans a "greater field of view" with this re-release.
"Space Colony is not your run of the mill life simulator. The game features a wealth of different structures, weapons, aliens and real-time strategy mechanics befitting of a base builder. Establishing mining operations, colonist facilities and perimeter defences is up to the player, as is deciding which planets to colonise," blurbed Firefly.
Space Colony HD releases digitally via GOG, Amazon, GetGames and others November 8th.
