Dark Mod for Doom 3 brings Thief to the shooter

There are gamers who love old school action first person shooters, and there are gamers who enjoy stealth based FPS's (first person skulkers). The new Dark Mode for Doom 3 appeases to the rare gamer who wants to play Thief inside his Doom.


The mod is still in development, but gamers can visit the official page here, as well as its wiki here.

Let us know if you love your Thief and Doom 3 mixed together like peanut butter and chocolate, as seen in the vid below.

Interesting Mod. A bit dark for my liking and "Doom" is after all an Action/Sci-Fi and not simply a Horror game. I welcome the lightened areas if only for a possible breather.

I think every shooter that could handle the code overhead should include stealth gameplay in single player and co-op. There's no logical reason for leaving it out if the engine can deal with it. At the very least all tactical shooters should have stealth.
