Final Fantasy XIV ends 31st October, gets Reborn the 11th November

Final Fantasy XIV will close on the 31st October, as the Sevent Umbral Era descends on Eorzea, according to publisher Square Enix. It'll wrap up that story line, and all character data will be saved.


Saved for what? The reboot, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, while will launch at 12:00AM PST on the 11th November. The data saved will be transferred to the reboot.

Square Enix will also be doing some beta-testing for A Realm Reborn in the meantime. Gamers with active accounts can apply by going to the official testing site here.

Why oh why did they have to recycle all the wrong things? Oh well..here's hoping its finally worth playing and presents a decent challenge (without requiring two blink tanks, LOL).

I would like to return to this game as well but i want confirmation that it`s actually worth the money first.
