Rockstar confirms spring 2013 for GTA V, "builds on everything we've learned"

Rockstar has broken radio silence to confirm that Grand Theft Auto V will be heading to retailers in spring of next year. Studio co-founder Sam Houser says they "can't wait to share it with fans."

It will debut on Xbox 360 and PS3 with no mention of PC. Take-Two called it the "most ambitious title in the series to date" as they delay their investor call.

"Grand Theft Auto V builds on everything we've learned about open world game design," said Houser. Next Thursday, November 8th, details are due to be spilled by Game Informer's multi-page spread.
