Finish Halo 4, get $25 credit on Halo 4 Amex card

One of the more interesting crossover promotions has Microsoft and American Express releasing a new Halo 4 credit card in which gamers in the US and UK can get $25 (or £25 in the UK) credit for finishing Halo 4.

The first 25 people in the US and first 5 in the UK who finish the game on Legendary will be entered to win a trip to E3 2013 in June 2013.

They will also receive coupons to establishments like AMC Theatres, PacSun, and Carphone warehouse.

Finally, gamers who use the card to pay for Xbox Live will get a $10 (or £10 in the UK) credit immediately.

It's just that on one hand it's great to see a gaming IP getting that kind of exposure but on the other one it kinda feels like selling out.

There seems no end to the lows for M$. Encouring youths to get a credit card when there is absolutely no need for them to have one. One way to get folks into debt faster these days I guess.
