CryEngine and Modern Warfare 3 engine open to security flaws

Reports from the POC2012 Conference in Seoul suggest games running CryEngine 3 or Modern Warfare 3's IW Engine might be subject to various security issues.

Security firm ReVuln indicated Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 might also suffer from such problems, largelt situated around online multiplayer.

Although the exact nature of these security risks are unknown, the company isn't willing to volunteer its results into public awareness. Instead, they will wait official commission from Activision.

Sounds fishy.

Internal investigations, with only the results the company allow to be seen is not the way to instill faith in customers.

Probably some crap with the code opening up way too many tunnels into your computer and firewall to see that you are not pirating/cheating online...
