Publisher Konami's social network tie-in app for PES 2013 goes live today as the myPES app creates a direct connection between the sports game and mega-huge Facebook.

It provides fans a "vast addition of stats and achievements" for both online and offline games. It also lets you join or create regional groups or private leagues. Social networking strikes again.

Let's hope there aren't any, or at least not many yellow or red cards with the myPES app. Last month Konami released DLC for free, updating the roster and adding a widget.
