As predicted, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 sold like hotcakes during its launch, and according to GameStop president Tony Bartel, over 1M units were moved in the game's midnight launch from the retailer alone.

Analyst Michael Olson is noting that Black Ops 2's sales are mimicking that of last year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which sold 6.5M in its first day. Olson thinks that launch sales could reach as high as 7.2M units. Modern Warfare 3 earned a record $775M in its first 5 days of release.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was released on the 13th November for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

It's really sad to see how many "sheep" are ready to pay for this.

That was totally true for the last one but this version at least seems a bit different so I can understand why people would want it.

I haven't seen much of this version, but I also understand why people would want to get this. New version, new environment, and new tech. I'll get the game some time in the future. I am not too worried about playing this game online.
