Eugen Systems has revealed the next free DLC for Wargame: European Escalation.

Fatal Error is the 4th free DLC to be released for Wargame, and instead of adding more content to the muliplayer mode, Eugen have decided to focus on solo play.

It first adds new content in the form of a brand new fifth operation to Wargame's existing four, as well as multi-touch gameplay conceived and tuned for owners of Ultrabook with touch¹ display.

The new solo campaign, Fatal Error, is a 5-mission long operation completely independent to Wargame's original campaign, and will provide players with new, bigger challenges to face. Based on an original alternate history, the operation brings us back to 1979, a time when hopes for a peaceful settlement of the East/West tensions seemed close, until the Euromissiles crisis and the discovery of a Soviet combat brigade being deployed in Cuba. Within the depths of Mount Cheyenne, home to North America's most vital command center, a tragic mistake made by a mere maintenance technician will set the world on fire once again.

The DLC will be available for free this evening on Steam for all owners of Wargame: European Escalation.

It's fantastic to see someone still doing stuff like this as a free update to their game instead of charging for every little thing (like in Total War for example). It's especially nice to see that this is for the SP part of the game.
