GTA Vice City "temporarily" removed due to "music licensing issues"

Digital copies of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City won't be available for a little while as "some music licensing issues" have cropped up, which is likely surrounding Michael Jackson's 'Wanna be Startin' Something'.

That little 1980's gem is controlled by Sony Music Entertainment. The temporary removal of digital copies for sale shouldn't affect Vice City's iOS launch, apparently. Damn you Fever 105!

The in-game radio station Fever 105 airs the MJ song, alongside 'Last Night a DJ Saved My Life' fby Indeep, 'All Night Long' by Mary Jane Girls and ten other tracks.

It's the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) that's too blame as it extends to digital video game distribution as well as normal online media content, reports Cinema Blend. As of now GTA VIce City is not available to buy through Steam on PC, although if you already own it then you're fined $2,000 and your firstborn child now belongs to Sony perfectly okay to download, install, play and listen the crap out of 'Wanna be Startin' Something'.

"Due to some music licensing issues, we’ve had to temporarily remove Vice City PC from digital stores. We’ll make it available again as soon as possible," Rockstar told one concerned gamer.

True, but as "Vice City" is still available (and very popular) it's a legal issue. As usual, the law is far behind the rest of the state of the world so they probably think this is sufficient. Losers!
