Gamers petitioning Rockstar for PC version of GTA5

Rockstar has refused to discuss a PC version of their upcoming blockbuster Grand Theft Auto V. Though it's likely that the game probably will enjoy a PC release (as every game in the series has enjoyed), gamers are not taking any changes, and have posted an online petition demanding a PC release.

The petition features a letter template demanding, "To: Rockstar Games

Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many peoples lives and it's a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have.

I hope you consider the release of GTA V on PC as it'll make many people very happy!"

The petition has so far exceeded 40K signatures.

Okay what the hell??? Didn`t they say there will be a PC version? Did they lie or did they change their mind? Either way not having a game like gta on pc is just stupid,it`s an open world game, something which pc gamers love, rockstar games you are a bunch of idiots.

I don't think there's any danger of a PC version not coming. Maybe the petition will get GTA5 to have a same day release as the console versions.

I doubt this version is in any danger but the next one on the other hand, specially considering that Rockstar don't exactly seem to be fans of the PC.

I won't be signing any petitions though, if they ever choose to abandon the PC then good riddance. Getting someone that didn't grow from the PC to release on the platform is something completely different (Demon's Souls).

Yeah, Red Dead Redemption still has no PC version.

Can't say that I am overly worried. I have never like the GTA games so this doesn't even concern me - but seeing that the PC is getting more and more important for developers to release "heavy" games on to keep the skill levels up will most likely be an important part when the new consoles hit the market and to have a bunch of really good and beatiful games to show off...

You most likley have to wait a bit though...
