I meet the 'recommended', but then I barely met them for "Crysis" yet played on Max settings with no issues. So I don't see why I won't do the same here. Haven't played "Crysis 2" yet, and to be honest still don't feel inclined to.

Do not play it Hero! You will be disappointed! Keep good memories and emotion of first game and do not play the later ones, it's EA, you know what became of great games if those goes for sequels...EA franchise killer.

I agree with Chosen_One. If you play Crysis 2, you'll only find major disappointment.

Thanks guys, I really have never been that interested in the console port that is "C2" anyway. I still believe in EA's ability to pull a rabbit out of the game box, though.

Same recommendation, avoid Crysis 2 as it's basically a "corridor" shooter.

I don't quite reach the Hi-Performance recommendation but I should be able to play it on pretty high settings, if I decide to get it.
I still have some hope that they'll make it more open world this time around.

As long as they don't follow BioWare's trend these days with each release worse than the previous.

Trust me Hero, they are following that way. There is much evidence in that, EA is to blame for sure.

I liked Crysis 2 actually, just not as much as the first game. Crysis 3 though has me worried, just that Crytek might be rushing things to get to their horrifying "free-to-play" future.

Also, I need a new graphics card. Assassin's Creed III pushed me and this sends me right over the edge...

Don't forget that "CoH 2" is coming, and by the early gameplay trailers I've seen even the top graphics cards will be pushed to the limit.

GFX in CoH2 don't look all that demanding to me, at least the game doesn't look THAT much better than CoH. Perhaps I've been looking at the wrong trailers :).

Breaking up ice flows (a new level of landscape destruction), high res cut-scenes....I wouldn't jump to conclusions too quickly. The original is still pretty demanding and "CoH 2" will be using a vastly improved version of the Essence 3 engine and feature a revamped line of sight mechanic called True Sight.

"What will this experience be like for someone who has the latest, high-end PC?

Company of Heroes is a gorgeous game. Company of Heroes 2 provides even more fidelity and higher performance. When we’re talking about the top-end systems, we’ve got DirectX 11 support. We’ve got all of the three and four letter acronyms, like SSAO (Screen Space Ambient Occlusion. The game just looks fantastic. We sold a lot of OEM graphics cards with Company of Heroes. It was an amazing looking game. The video card guys loved us, because the game looked amazing on their fastest rigs. Company of Heroes 2, for the high-end systems, it’s going to be absolutely unbelievable."

Things probably look much better when you're actually playing the game yourself but the screens so far don't really show it for some reason.

It's reassuring that they are making those claims but I yet have to see it for myself.
The breaking ice is awesome, I love that the physics in games are finally advancing as well.

Sony Entertainment are also showing trailers for "CoH - The Movie" with Time Sizemore (the wife-basher from "Saving Ryan's Privates"). From what I've seen, it looks to be dreadful:(

I meet the requirement for hig - except for the gfx card. have a oc 660TI card.
Still - the biggest problem is that I don't meet the interest part at all.
Lookinlike I will join Hero in checking out how much ice I can break in CoH2 :D
