Preferred Status players get new perks in SW: The Old Republic

BioWare has announced that Preferred Status players in Star Wars: The Old Republic would be getting improved perks, and even free-to-play gamers would be getting some improvement as well.

For one, Preferred Status Players will see an increase to their default Quickbars from two to four, while free-to-play gamers will see their Quickbars go from 1 to 2. According to Bioware, "If youíve already purchased additional Quickbars, donít worry: we will be refunding your Cartel Coins for any Quickbar-related purchase."

Bioware ius also promising that in an upcoming patch, Preferred Status players will be given four additional character slots, upping the total to 6.

They also stated that free-to-play players can reach Preferred Status simply by purchasing anything from the online store or purchasing a physical copy of the game.

Particularly if you've ever subbed before (got the newsletter last night). I'll have to check, but I might have Preferred Status already, having registered a retail copy of the game with EA. Not sure I'm at the stage where I'd spend any time in the game again though.

same here but i don't want those rediculous limitations either so i rather spend my time at skyrim...
