EA Sports' FIFA 13 continues to experience trouble with its Ultimate Team and so the publisher has "temporarily disabled" the service while they "work to resolve an issue" causing the headaches.

This means Ultimate Team's " online gameplay, trading, store purchasing, the Web App" and mobile app are all "unavailable during this time." Team of the Week is delayed.

The publisher announced and explained the action via the official forums. Yesterday the player auction system was taken offline. Problems have existed since launch.

"While we work to resolve an issue we've temporarily disabled FIFA 13: Ultimate Team. This is to ensure that an optimal experience can be sustained in the future. FUT13 online gameplay, trading, store purchasing, the Web App, and the mobile companion app will be unavailable during this time," posted EA.

"We'll keep you updated as soon as we have additional information throughout the coming days. Other FIFA 13 online game modes will not be affected." FIFA 13 released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in late September.
