Developer thatgamecompany's evocative adventure Journey has a new honor awaiting it: the game has been nominated for a Grammy for it's soundtrack, authored by composer Austin Wintory. The nomination is in the Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media category, competing with The Adventures Of Tintin – The Secret Of The Unicorn, The Artist, The Dark Knight Rises, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and Hugo. Last year, Christopher Tin won a Grammy for Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s), for the song "Baba Yet" from Civilization IV. It was the first time a videogame earned a Grammy. The 55th Grammy Aawards are due to be televised on the 10th February 2013. Source: VG247 Related games: | |
