According to reports, Irrational Games Rod Fergusson has ordered the developer to delay the release of BioShock Infinite by a month. Rather than see a 26th February 2013 release, the game will now be on shelves on the 26th March.

In addition, a slate of new screenshots have been released for the game, which will be hitting PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

I hope it's just to polish the game to a respectable level, it better not be something more serious.

The timing suggests some good old-fashioned bug fixing.

Highly doubt that TBH, Bioshock as an IP has no reason to hide from any game other than the CoD giants and such. Just a bit of tinkering I should think :)

It will probably be for polishing. Waiting another month is not too bad.

I'd rather wait a month longer than having to play a broken game.

I'd be seriously ticked off if I was still one of those who bought into Pre-order scams (as that's what they are for me now).
I'll bet it's a bloody console hiccup that's caused this...*stir, stir*

I too, want to avoid the whole pre-order thing... but for Starcraft II Collectors Edition, I can't resist. I am very picky when it comes to Collectors, so I won't be getting anything else.
