Tripwire isn't letting up with its themed Killing Floor events. The wave-based survival game is set to be invaded with Christmas critters in today's update.

Twisted Christmas III: Evil Santa's Moonbase will unleash low gravity arenas, a dwarfen battle axe, plus new DLC for your character and weapons.

Check out some early footage:

The Christmas theme has been completed across the last few months, as Killing Floor continues to capitalise on the attention of its users through quirky changes.

Along with "Red Orchestra 2" no doubt, and other Steam titles. Haven't played this in years and....nope, still don't much want to get back to it.

I have many problems with this DLC. First off, what the hell does (evil) Santa need a Moonbase for? Why not give him the South Pole? Second, *Dwarven Battle-Axe. Third, if it's on the moon, low gravity is most likely to be expected. And lastly, a Dwarven Battle-Axe has no place in a Christmas-themed game. That just adds to the lunacy.

well they already did run 2 snow maps so i guess they wanna make a change (or just monkey COD lol) the weapons look nice but yeah whats with the axe? i get the scythe for halloween especially when you get the grim reaper skin but the dwarf axe is being random why not go with the moonbase theme with somekind of lasersword or advanced melee weaponry?

This game is loads of fun, but better if you have friends to play with, that also understand how teamwork works. I haven't seen Red Orchestra in action just yet. Saw a quick video, but didn't convince me enough to get it.

ah the dwarven axe has a connection with the game DWARFS!? requiring you to play the F2P mode one and gain 40K cash gold(or buy the game will aslo work) then you will be able to have this axe in killing floor

its a sort of advertising attempt to get you on that game well its free and its optional so not too much worries

Even so, it's still out of place.

So, go home, Dwarfen Axe. You're drunk.

same company but yeah not coherent with the game anyways played on the moonbase got all parts and tested the gun is good for its support role but don't use it as damage

Same company means nothing. You wouldn't put a Siege Tank into WarCraft. Or a Blood Elf into Diablo. (Although, the latter isn't as bad as the former; it could be done.)
(By the way, lichlord, I'm not disagreeing with you; just emphasizing the point. :D)

I never played Warcraft 3. Thanks for identifying my ignorance. :)

But, a Hydralisk looks more like it could be in Warcraft; a Siege Tank really doesn't.
