Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed 3 is the fastest-selling game in the company's history, with a whopping 7M unit sales in a single month.

Of course, with such sales, Ubisoft has come up with some wacky numbers, stating that "players have accumulated more than 82 centuries of gaming time and committed more than 3 billion assassinations" in the single player campaign. As for multiplayer, "more than 250 million assassinations have been performed in more than 5 billion multiplayer sessions."

Assassin's Creed 3 was released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 30th October, which is where the numbers come from. The PC version was released two weeks ago on the 23rd November.

Strategy Informer gave the game a 9.0/10 score in its review.

Huh...only 0.05 assasinations per multiplayer session? In a game called assassin's creed? What the hell is up there?

djole that`s a bandwagon no one can jump on anymore, not even ubicrap. After playing the game i have to say it`s not bad at all,it shows both the colonists and british as assholes and the natives as the victims which let`s be honest here is the truth.

Connor is not like Ezio at all,he`s naive and brash but what do you expect? He comes from the new world so the ideas of the old one are not familiar to him and that`s what makes him interesting, his interaction between his peoples ideas and the colonists.

The game itself isn`t bad but its not as good as any AC 2 game,i still hate the setting, the amount of bugs is ridiculous but what bothers me the most is the horrible UI and the fact that some of the stuff you had in the previous games aren`t here, where is the hook blade or the great amount of different bombs you could make?

And for that matter where the hell are the other assassins? Did no one from the order bother to check on the colonies? Not even the other templars?

I find it kinda creepy that these companies know the stats for SP campaigns at all. MP is different obviously but for SP I expect to be able to murder people in privacy.

Ubisoft has released some awesome games like Assassins Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 this year, also for ps vita.It has some bugs but in time they will update as they always do,the only negative thing about Assassins Creed 3 is a true missing co-op,the mp is not that interesting,i want to run with my buddies just like Far Cry 3 maybe it will be in the next one!
