Warner Bros. Interactive has announced some new downloadable content for their MOBA Guardians of Middle-Earth. For starters, a free Shire Map Skin will be available, while Bilbo Baggins and Bert the Troll will be available for purchase; both characters are free if the user owns a Season Pass for GOME.


Naturally, both Bilbo and Bert are tie-ins to the Peter Jackson film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey released today.

Bilbo Baggins, a Striker class hero, features the following abilities:

* Attercop! Attercop!: Damages and taunts an enemy
* Hobbit sense: Enter stealth for a brief time
* Gaffer’s home cider: Attack speed and critical hit chance increases
* Sting: Teleport, damages an enemy, immune to root

Bert the Troll, a Tactician class hero: features the following abilities:

* Bonfire: Fire that damages enemies and towers
* Mutton: Pull, stun and damage enemy
* Spirits: Increase movement speed and resistance
* Stumbling Rage: Area attack with fear and damage
