The Kickstarter campaign for Frontier Developments' Elite: Dangerous now stands over £826k with 15 days left for backers to reach a mighty £1.25 million. To that end, Frontier now accept Paypal.

The space sim still needs over £420k if it's too get Kickstarted, with the deadline January 4th. Frontier are issuing a "call to arms" as they release a teaser trailer for Elite: Dangerous.

The official Elite: Dangerous website accepts Paypal donations directly if you'd rather bypass Kickstarter.

Ever the materialist, what do I get for contributing?

The game and mebbe some goodies for the higher tiers. Personally I've already backed into star citizen for a considerable (in my mind) sum, so I'll refrain form piling into this one. Still would love to see it get made though!

I've spent enough subsidising 777 Studios and "Rise of Flight" (pre-ordering products before they're even off the design boards is the way to keep them going). It used to pay off with the odd free plane thrown my way, but now they don't give anything back which I think is a sad indictment on Capitalism.
