THQ filings reveal unannounced titles '1666', 'Crawler' and 'Atlas'

That bankruptcy filing for publisher THQ has dragged some unannounced projects kicking and screaming into the light. Former Ubisoft man Patrice Desilets has something called '1666' in the works.

That ominous year held the Great Fire of London, where Desilets has visited for research. Darksiders' Vigil Games has a project called 'Crawler', and Relic has 'Atlas' due 2014.

Left 4 Dead's Turtle Rock is developing a new 'co-op multiplayer action' title, according to the paperwork. THQ believe Saints Row 4 will be their highest earner in 2013.

Atlas...could it be Homeworld 3?

Surely not, that IP would seem too risky I think. I mean THQ certainly isn't out of the picture yet, but they can't afford too many losses at this stage.

It's a wonder THQ aren't asking for pledges, as every man and is his best friend seems to find that popular these days.

Is there any crowd-founding game came out?

Nope, since they still like their public image...hell that's maybe the one thing they have going for themselves, their reputation for publishing actually good games and typically avoiding the PR nightmares like Ubisoft and EA are so good at.

Would be interesting to see what would/could happen if they turn to crowd-funding like Kickstarter
