Retro Resident Evil 6 costumes bring back the blockiness

Capcom has introduced the strangest downloadable content for Resident Evil 6 yet: costumes which mimic the blockiness of the original PlayStation game.

According to "Gregaman", "As you can see, the costumes take inspiration from the classic RE games of yore, with blocky, angular designs and traditional outfits. RPD? Man, I thought that place shut down!"

We haven't seen square boobs like these since the original Tomb Raider.

 
The costumes are free, but can only be unlocked through various events. "Want to start obtaining these things? Well, it seems our first opportunity to get one is coming up on December 28th, when residentevil.net launches the "Zombie Mayhem" online event. The event calls for all RE6 players to join forces and kill as many zombies as possible. If we hit 15 million worldwide, all participants will be able to unlock one costume from this set," instructs "Gregaman".

The good ol' days... Wierd how we thought the graphics looked 'amazing' back then. Also a strange way to unlock content.

Good Lord, Retro gone mad. I'm happier keeping the original as my memory sees it - with much better graphics than they actually were.
