Rumor: Grand Theft Auto V launching 26th March 2013

Amazon.com has updated its release date for Grand Theft Auto V to the 26th March 2013. While online retailer release dates should often be taken with a grain of salt, the date falls on a Tuesday, the usual launch date for North American videogames, and not the 31st March, which is the end of the financial quarter.

If the date is true, expect an announcement by Rockstar in the next week or two. Stay tuned.

I'll wait for a sale on the PC release. The premise is wearing a bit thin after so many years, but will no doubt gather a big following for those who basically started out with "GTA IV", or even "GTA: SA".
