Square-Enix has announced that beta registrations for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn are now live, and that players may apply at the official European site here.

The registration is good for both PC and PlayStation 3 users, and Final Fantasy XIV "Legacy" subscribers will be admitted automatically.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is expected to (re)launch late this year. In the meantime, Square-Enix released a new 8 and a half minute trailer for the game.
