LEGO Marvel Super Heroes coming Fall 2013

With the spate of Marvel films coming this year, including a new Iron Man film, it's only mildly surprising that Disney would share its lucrative Marvel license with Warner Bros. to have Traveler's Tales develop LEGO Marvel Super Heroes.


The game will, like LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, reference the many Marvel films released in the past, including the Spider-Man franchise, the Iron Man films, The Avengers, and others. The plot itself has an original story in which Nick Fury summons The Avengers and other Marvel heroes (including, if the image is to be believed, Deadpool) to save the Earth from both Loki and Galactus.

The game will be released this Fall 2013 for every platform imaginable, including PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

And I thought the TV show was bad enough....and yes, I DID watch some of it (young nephews and nieces...my excuse anyway).

Talk about missing the whole point of lego,what made it great was the fact that you could create your own stuff out of it,making games and shows off of it is just... wrong,in my opinion.

Totally agree Dan, and why I was really always a Meccano boy meself. Once Lego started coming out with pre-fabricated designs it was the start of the finish (I know Meccano did it too, but much later and with better ideas).

I still have my old lego pieces scattered in a box,i`m giving those to my kids to play with them,it`ll help them develop a great imagination and that`s what lego is all about.
