Worms developer Team17 has announced that a remake of the classic Amiga top down shooter Alien Breed - not to be confused with the Alien Breed Trilogy - will be hitting PlayStation Network this February.


According to the press release, the remake features 30 levels from three level packs titled Convergence, Valiance and Synergy. The graphics can be toggled between modern graphics and the original Amiga 16 bit graphics. Players will be able to play co-op with both PlayStation 3 and Vita gamers, both online, offline or ad-hoc with the Vita version.

Finally, Alien Breed will include onlne leaderboards and trophies.
