Holy space-filler. I'd need a new apartment if I were to buy CE's of many games these days, and a very understanding partner who allowed me to indulge my childish whims.

This game is not worth it. I was so bored while played DS2 that I didn't finished it. Copy-pasta shit, lazy bastards.

Srsly Hero, if we analyze the second game, we can see that 80-90% of content used from 1st game, even corridors and rooms used very same textures from 1st game! I spent a lot of hours and didn't encounter any new monster, all of em from 1st game, even that annoying immortal one, though maybe I forgot something. And speaking Izaak Clarke spoiled all the Half Life feeling :) As for DS 3, I am sure that this one is even worse, considering that EA is publishing it, furs on space suits is rubbish (I only excepted that in W40K, Space Wolves have fur on armor, cuz they made that to highlight that they are Wolves) I am sure that most of the stuff is again used from previous games but recolored for snowy cause, thats it.

I know, I know. What can I say. I struggled to enjoy the first because of the key mapping issue (or lack of one) and the over-the-shoulder perspective, some thing new to me and despite the genuine scare, pants-staining moments it was a lot of repetitious stuff. I can only guess about the second.
However, im space no one can hear you criticise.

First DS was a masterpiece, very classic sci-fy thriller.

As I say, until I could use a 3rd Party program to map the keys to the way I wanted (as should be the case in any PC game, console port aside) I found it virtually un-playable. When I could, it had some great chills and chase moments though I did begin to anticipate what and when something was bound to happen. Those mutant babies got me though, I must admit.
