ArenaNet announces Guild War 2 has sold 3M copies, reveals 2013 plans

ArenaNet has announced that their subscription-less MMO Guild Wars 2 sold over 3 million copies since its launch on the 28th August 2012.

Since then, the MMO enjoyed updates that included new content, two massive holiday events, brand new PvE and PvP maps, and the major Lost Shores world event. ArenaNet, however, is promising even more content for 2013, according to the developer's blog post.

In addition, ArenaNet has posted a YouTube developer diary discussing what to expect in 2013 as well. Check it out in the video below.

Great to see the game is doing so well,hopefully other mmo`s will learn from them and just have us pay ONCE for the game and give us everything in the game.

Bugger of the ting is I know if I get this I won't see daylight, or sleep, for weeks and work/life will suffer.
