Old school 3D dungeon crawler Legend of Grimrock has passed the 600K sales milestone, according to developer Almost Human.

The studio beamed, "We would've been happy with just one tenth of the sales numbers, so needless to say we're very happy and the future of our company is secured for a long time."

The game, which some call a spiritual successor to the old Dungeon Master game, was released on the 11th April 2012, and earned an 8.0/10 score in Strategy Informer's review. A dungeon editor was released in October as well.

This game looks like fun, though I am not yet convinced. Don't want to end up spending money for nothing.

It's $7.50 on Gog.com sale.

It was even less in the GOG "Indie RPG" sale over Xmas. I bought it then. Waiting until I finish XCOM before I give it a go, for my old-school new-game fix.
