According to a list of Xbox 360 Achievements, Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider reboot will have a quarter of its total Gamerscore locked away. They can only be earned through multiplayer.

This is the first time that a multiplayer element is being introduced to the Tomb Raider series. Achievements cover winning in every mode, reviving others, and being a sole survivor.

All character and upgrade purchases are also tied to boosting Gamerscore. 250G is available to those looking to step online with Tomb Raider. This is likely identical for PS3.

It's unfortunate for those who shy away from multiplayer but like their achievements list brimming with accolades. Multiplayer exclusive Achievements are rarely celebrated owing to the trouble some experience when trying to play online, like server availability or rotten cheaters.

A full account of the Xbox 360 Achievements for Tomb Raider has been posted by X360A. The multiplayer portion of the game is collaboration between Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal, with the Deus Ex: Human Revolution team leading the online development. This was to ensure Crystal remained focuses on singleplayer.

Tomb Raider releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC March 5th.
